LES - mist eliminator T 200 |

The profile T 200 obtains a high separating performance with its 90°-elbows. Also large and gush-like water loadings are separated with this profile.
Function:
 By detour of the air flow in the more-wavy percussion surface separator the liquid drops are hurled to the inner surfaces of the profile. At the catch noses the liquid film is derived. At the same time by t he strong detour and the speed increase of the air flow a low drop size limit is achieved
User:
T 200-profiles are used as mist eliminators at the Beil®-air washers with incident -flow velocities from 1 to 4 m/sec and a profile distance of 25 mm.
Material:
L-ES - mist eliminators have talcum powder-strengthened poly-propylene with a usual operating temperature of approx. 100° C. Brief the profiles are loadable also up to 130° C. Further materials are available on request (e.g. stainless steel).

Pressure loss:
The diagram beside shows the pressure loss of our profiles depending on the face velocity and the profile distance recommended by us. Pressure loss due to the design of the container are not taken into consideration . This is valid for system water/air at 20°C and 1 bar. This performance data will only be achieved with uniform load and flow.

Drop size limit:
The limitation to drop size is where the drops are of such size that the drop separator can still achieve separation. This drop size limit is dependent on the profile shape, the profile distance and the face velocity. The graph beside shows the profile distance as used in L-ES - air washers
