The profile T 100 is characterised by low pressure loss and a high
seperating effect.
Function:
The separation of the liquid drops takes place according to the inertia principle .The drops are hurled by the curvature of the profile to the profile inner surfaces and exhausted at the catch noses. Additionally small sharp edged increases are appropriate at the inner surfaces of the profile, which derive the remainder liquid.
User:
T 100-profiles are used as deflector plates at the Beil®-air washer with a profile distance from 20 to 30 mm. With air washers with air speeds from 4.5 to 7 m/sec the T 100-profiles are used as mist eliminators with a profile distance of 20 mm.
Material:
L-ES - mist eliminators have talcum powder-strengthened poly-propylene with a usual operating temperature of approx. 100° C. Brief the profiles are loadable also up to 130° C. Further materials are available on request (e.g. stainless steel).

Pressure loss:
The diagram beside shows the pressure loss of our profiles depending on the face velocity and the profile distance recommended by us. Pressure loss due to the design of the container are not taken into consideration . This is valid for system water/air at 20°C and 1 bar. This performance data will only be achieved with uniform load and flow.

Drop size limit:
The limitation to drop size is where the drops are of such size that the drop separator can still achieve separation. This drop size limit is dependent on the profile shape, the profile distance and the face velocity. The graph beside shows the profile distance as used in L-ES - air washers.
